Anchor Running Rig by New Zealand Kayaker
Being able to pull an anchor from the front of the boat is critical to safety and stability. The anchor running kit is essential equipment that allows the anchor to be attached from the seat then pulled around to the front
Adjustable Multi Fit Kayak Running Rig (Anchor Trolley). Will fit any kayak.
Made with Stainless Steel fittings and using Spectra Cord (a non-stretch cord).
This is a must for the serious kayak fisherman.
A Running Rig is used in conjunction with an anchor or Drift Chute (Drogue) and can be set off the front or rear of the kayak simply by pulling the cord through the pulleys.
This comes standard with saddles and screws to fit the brass inserts that may be moulded into your kayak. If your kayak doesn't have inserts fitted, ask for "well nuts" to be supplied. Well nuts are self sealing rubber nuts that fit 10mm holes.
How to fit to your kayak:
We all know that the more visible you are on the water, the safer you are, especially in rough conditions or in a shipping lane.
Now you can buy everything in one kit to give day and night visibility when on the water in your kayak or canoe. The TelePole can also be retasked to carry a GoPro camera or similar on top during daylight hours.
Viking Angler Rudder System (short blade design) DIY kit will fit any of the Viking Profish kayaks.
Designed specifically for kayak anglers and paddlers who want a hassle free rudder system whether they’re launching from surf beaches, exploring the kelp beds, or paddling wide of the coast.
The short blade design doesn’t need an up-haul and is always working, even when the water is almost too shallow to paddle. In deeper water the short design ensures the rudder rests in the kayak’s wake without adding any significant drag – the ultimate in efficiency.
Now with 'Toe Tab' foot controls for superior control.
The 'Angler' blade works fantastic, plus there is no requirement for an up haul - super convenient.
A rudder system will make your kayak much easier to manage in windy conditions.
